Wairarapa Geological Services Limited (WGS) is a New Zealand based consultancy with extensive international experience in the oil and gas industry.

Since April 1995 WGS has been providing geoprofessional solutions to the oil and gas industry in the SE Asia - SW Pacific Region. WGS uses Windows XP ® based geoscience workstations to provide comprehensive solutions to clients' needs and is managed by a Petroleum Geologist with over two decades of experience.

Recent oil & gas industry work involved projects in Indonesia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea and included asset valuation, basin analysis, operations geology, project management of a 2D seismic survey, prospect generation, reservoir studies, seismic interpretation and surface mapping.

Within New Zealand, Wairarapa Geological Services also offers specialist geological and geophysical services such as fault hazard mapping to local industries, local authorities and individuals as well as providing Geographic Information System (GIS) consulting services.
