WGS uses the following software (click on More for a direct
link to the software pulisher's web page) installed on modern NT workstations:
- SeisVisionTM a fully-integrated 2D/3D seismic interpretation
and mapping system from GeoGraphix®. More

- MapInfo Professional® which is a comprehensive
desktop mapping tool from MapInfo Corporation. More
.....
Software such as PetroSysTM
can be deployed should a client require it.
Additional software packages include Adobe® PhotoShop,
CorelDrawTM, Surfer®, MapViewerTM,
Rockware® Visual Seismic, etc. Other software is
regularly reviewed and/or trialed.
Client's data can be ftp'd via the internet, e-mailed, or read
from most tape formats (DAT, Exabyte and QIC), DVD and CD-Roms.
Reports are delivered
to clients in a similar manner. A DOS based workstation is maintained
for accessing data in old/discontinued formats and data recovery
facilities are also available.
Experience on GeoQuest and Landmark workstations
can be utilised for projects in clients' offices.
